Q-Tip Sets Kamaal Release Date

2009-07-01 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 8 Comments
2008 may well go down as the year Axl Rose defied us and provided that Chinese Democracy had, in fact, existed all these years. Less than a year later Q-Tip will bring another long, drawn-out saga to an end when he finally officially releases Kamaal The Abstract on September 15.

Originally scheduled for release in 2001, and then pushed back to 2002, and finally released to the media for review before being unceremoniously shelved on the eve of release, Kamaal The Abstract has circulated in underground (read: internet) circles for the better part of the past decade while Q-Tip has successfully grappled with his former label to wrestle control of the masters.
