Song is much better then Wires... till the end vocals
and the Smartpunk shirt looks better

Oh my GOD! Jag's voice is so fucking intolerable. I listen to (and love) Chiodos' Bone Pallace Ballet but, still, I don't understand how anyone could listen to this shit. UGH This band either needs to kill their vocalist or just die.
Oh, and let me fill you guys in on a little something. A Skylit Drive was playing a show near where I live (Springfield Virginia), but when their tour manager found out that the venue was hosting shows for local bands that same night, he flipped the hell out. So, because of that ass hole, a band that sold 95 tickets didn't even get to play. FUCK ASD
|
| |
How is it the band's fault that their tour manager is a prick? I'm not trying to defend the band in anyway but you're putting blame on the wrong person
|
| |
This band played with August Burns Red( who were headlining :D ) and my buddy who drove us there, once they came up on stage he kept booing them out loud when they were singing even through songs yelling them too get off stage. They got soo pissed and even some of their fans were laughing. But yes i gotta agree with the guy above me, when they played i can't stand the vocalist its way to high pitched, their back up screamer is meh but as soon as Jag sings it just ruins the mood of the song
|
| |
@ encmetalhead
I don't necessarily think its the band's fault that their tour manager is an ass, but let's be honest... If they were enthusiastic about having local bands play at their show then they could have shut their manager the hell up. I mean, this band sold 95 tickets to a small show in a relatively rural area. That's a big deal.
|
| |
yea seriously Jag sucks balls.
|
| |
Whitetieblackjacket was that venue by any chance Jaxx? I live in Maryland so I've been there before and I'm pretty sure their tour was just there. Regardless what band was it that sold 95 tickets and didn't play? Oh yeah...the song. Umm, Jag's voice blows and this sounds like they are trying to rip Alesana and Chiodos all at once.
|
| |
@ToWhatEnd
Yup, it was Jaxx. The band is This Time Never. They're not amazing, but, I mean, a lot of people wanted to see them and Attack! Attack! (for the supposedly HxC light show lol).
Jag is bad recorded but live... Helllll nooooo, you'll need ear plugs for that shit.
|
| |
Tell me about it. I saw them on ABR's headlining tour and, just as the guy above said, they were awful. People booed them off the stage there and they had zero pit most of the night. Even SkyEatsAirplane's fanbase didn't like them; that's how you know they're bad.
|
| |
lol Why would they even be on the same stage as August Burns Red? Who set that up....
I like SkyEatsAirplane though. D: They got some trippy synth yo. lol

Wow, your "buddy" is so cool, I bet he gets tons of chicks. Seriously people who do shit like that at shows are fucking lame ass cornballs.
New song is alright, not really any better than the last CD. And this band honestly put on the best performance of the show when i saw em with august burns red/sky eats airplane
|
| |
I like Sky Eats Airplane's Everything Perfect On The Wrong Day, but they're self-titled is...wrong.
Anyways, I can't see ASD out-performing August Burns Red. Maybe there was just a lot of scene girls there who hid in the background during ABR's gig, and then got loud during ASD's... >_>

@ sexualsoy bean
He didn't do it cause it was cool. He did it cause they actually do suck. And what do people usually do if a band sucks. They boo them off stage...and yea they were sharing the stage with ABR and SEA. They both had a killer set. You may enjoy the vocals, it just fits some peoples taste as for me ill stick with ABR and SEA
|
| |
Song is pretty...annoying.
|
| |
I saw them live and told the vocalist to his face that he looked like a gay Alexi Laiho. o/
|
| |
they're one of my guilty pleasures..they have a few catchy songs. otherwise though i would never see them live unless someone worth a fuck were headlining.
|
| |
HAHA they sound like Eyes Set To Kill... And if you know that band, you'll understand why it's funny.
|
| |
Jag is more of a girl than the vocalist in Eyes Set To Kill, and she has a va jay jay! :O
|
| |
more terrible scene shit.
|
| |
People who boo bands at shows and other immature bullshit like that are lame. Period. That's so freaking childish, if I don't like a band that's up I go outside for a smoke or go to the bar or something, not try to ruin the show the people who came to see a band I don't happen to like. Grow up.
|
| |
gay Alexi Laiho.
redundant
|
| |
people actually like these guys?
|
| |
Called me old fashion then...i spend my money's worth to go see bands, and not have a smoke while ones playing, i can do that at home. If they suck thats their fault and expect them to get booed at.
|
| |
I would gladly boo them off the stage if it meant I didn't have to listen to their vocalist sing his mangina off.
seriously, its so bad its almost intolerable. To think stupid scene girls actually call these guys screamo...
|
| |
I think the band's biggest mistake was getting rid of their original vocalist and replacing him with Jag. Sure, their EP She Watched The Sky was generic, but I mean, obviously they could have gone in a better direction with those types of vocals. I just can't stand them anymore. They're gross. They really are.
|
| |
saw these guys last night at harpers ferry in boston, ma on the dance gavin/attack attack tour. not a huge fan to begin with but compared to the opening acts they really got a heavy sound outta that little bar. regardless, the choreographed black shoes straight hair head bangs was a little over the top. pretty femme brah

"People who boo bands at shows and other immature bullshit like that are lame. Period. That's so freaking childish, if I don't like a band that's up I go outside for a smoke or go to the bar or something,"
You sir are a genius! This is a great strategy when many clubs don't allow re-entry for those under 21. Also nothing says fun like chilling at the bar and ordering a $3 Coke. Though in all seriousness I get what you are saying about ruining the show for others. In America, for the most part, that hardly happens. Booing rarely gets out of control to the point where it would ruin the show for others. If you want to see a show getting ruined for others youtube some MCR or Panic videos from Download.
|
| |
saw these guys last week, because my girlfriend has known them for some time. pretty much the worst show ive ever been to, and that includes local bands. worst waste of money since bernie madoff
|
| |
I swear I only joined this thing to let people know, that in 2009 at warped tours 15th bday, in west palm florida, me 3 friends along with 200 some odd Streetlight Manifesto fans booed them off stage 15 minutes early. They are so bad. Honestly, I'd rather see how many purple heavy dunlop bass picks i can fit into my ear while listening to them. There trash, and im sure that there manager is a douche cause he knows that band is a flop. doesnt matter how many tickets you sell in a small area, just shows how many little girls like a red haired pigmy dressed up as a girl. And in all honesty, the rest of the band is AWESOME the vocals and lyrics are terrible.
