Their new single sounds about as country as Jelly Roll. Not terrible I suppose but not what I think of first, second or fifth when I think country.

Huh, I actually saw these guys live back in 2019 supporting Ryan Key on his solo tour.
If I remember correctly they were hanging in the lobby afterward and said a quick hello to everyone who came to speak to them, seemed like nice dudes.

never listened to them much, but if Isbell is their biggest influence in the country then it's reasonable to assume they're moving that direction and not radio pop country garbage. could be decent. who knows

Got this band mixed up with Good Old War who have supported as Anthony Green's backing band for various albums and thought for a moment this could be good considering how high caliber Green's solo album instrumentals have been
