Rudd and Segel Sing Rush

2009-03-10 by Tyler EMERITUS | 14 Comments
Fans of Judd Apatow's tragically cancelled Freaks & Geeks may remember Jason Segel's character, Nick Andopalis' unrequited love for Canadian progressive rock legends Rush.

Well in Segel's latest flick I Love You, Man, he and co-star Paul Rudd play two huge Rush fans and they perform vocals on a cover of Rush's “Limelight”, a track slated to appear on the film's soundtrack due out March 17th. That track has made its way online a week early, and you can hear it at the link below:

Rush fans can also expect a rumoured cameo by the Canadian legends. I Love You, Man hits theatres March 20th.

This movie is going to be great. I wonder if Jason Segel wrote it, because he wrote Forgetting Sarah Marshall and that movie was great. Judd Apatow is a bit bipolar in his work, though. Whoever wrote the article is an ignoramus. Rush's lyrics aren't bad at all. This Message Edited On 03.11.09

uh, some of their lyrics are trash. but i agree, to call all their lyrics bad is wrong. neil has written some great stuff. grace under pressure has some great work on it.
