New Bloc Party album out now! 2008-08-21 by zenblade | 9 Comments | Following on from the release of lead single Mercury in July (as well as the recent trend of releasing new albums 'randomly'), Bloc Party have announced the release of their third album 'Intimacy', which is available immediately through their website. The CD is available 27th October and will contain further bonus tracks.
This may come as somewhat surprising news to Bloc Party fans, since lead singer Kele Okereke has said previously that it would not be released until the end of 2008/early 2009.

It's not horrible by any means, but it's not great either. The rockers just seem like Bloc Party by-the-numbers...the slower songs are very good.
Ares is just a bad song...I cringe every time Kele goes "whoa whoa whoa whoa!"...ugh...
