Well I've always loved Madden, ever since 94 when Emmit Smith was a white guy, don't recall which year exactly but I remember the glory days of an ambulance running over players on the field. In recent years to be on topic, the recent games have had some cool tracks. Like when before Bullet got Huge I thought 4 Words (To Choke Upon) was the total shit. Still not bad every now and then.

That's a really weird soundtrack for a football game.

Farve being on the cover will make sense in October when he announces that he's coming out of retirement...and then he gets hurt.

John Madden should be president cause hes so fricken awesome. Well at least now he gets to talk about Brett Favre more gets to say his name 50,000 times a game. Just imagine John Madden listening to a Heavy Metal soundtrack lol.

John Madden is a terrible commentator, he repeats everything that you just saw and heard. Thanks John for telling us shit we already know. Al Michaels is pretty raw but I do like John Madden more than my fellow mates. Panthers are takin the Giants to school this year Payne, Steve Smith, Jake Delhomme, a new running game bada bam. And the beast that is Jon Beason. This Message Edited On 07.12.08

Nah, Giants D is still going to own even without Strahan. People never give the Giants the credit they deserve. Every single game in the playoffs last year the commentators picked against them and look where they ended up. I kind of hope they continue to pick against them cause it motivates them. If only they could play every game on the road lol.

Madden has had hard rock and post-hardcore and metalcore songs for years this isn't news.

You are now officially my best e-friend Balls lol.

People who **** on John Madden are retards, there is a reason he has made it so far in the business (besides a strong coaching career), just because you're a football dork doesn't diminish that.

I agree. He has earned the right to talk like he does.

Yeah, I agree Iluvtar, iI've just heard so much crap talk about Madden from my friends that I just stopped trying to argue a downhill battle and followed suit. Still, I like Al Michales more than anyone else tbh. Panthers fan Poet? My first team although still gotta root for my home team as well. and just wisecrackin payne, thanks to the Giants the 1972 Dolphins remain intact.

The Panthers are a good team but they might need a new QB soon. Jake Delhomme is good but you will have to wait and see how he does this year. I know the G-Men usually don't do well against the Panthers. I actually prefer the Saints in that division because the poor bastards never do good.

I love listening to John Madden ramble on and on because it is quite entertaining. It is especially funny when he talks about Brett Favre. I just know that it will be a very very sad day for football when he passes away.

Yeah, if Delhomme goes down again, Panthers are fucked. John Fox will be fired and the managment will be quickly discarded with fresh personell. This is the make or break season for Carolina. 2004 was heartwrenching, man was I hysterical. Ever since that day, Adam Vinateri has been high on my list of people to whack. Madden is pretty humorous indeed and will suck when that occurs but what about Bret Farve, talk about alienating your homebase.

As awful a song as 4 Words is, it provided the funniest Madden moment I've ever witnessed:

That song was playing in between plays. There was a sudden drumroll as I chose "Ask Madden." The first word he said was "BOOM!" and then the guitar solo started.

Madden always had a bad soundtrack, and the game is full of bullshit that would never happen and prevents me from winning.

Madden has no more competition since the 2k series went down so they don't have to improve shit on their games because they know a ton of people will buy it regardless. Very cost effective but stingy. Fuck you Ea, still a very fun game to smack your friends around in though.
