I might get this, even though it's basically the same setlist i saw plus a few extras (which i assume were played in place of some of the ones i saw)
Wish they played Lines in the Sand or Scarred live when I saw them (saw them twice) =( but every other song here i saw them play live except Forsaken but i'm fine with that.
The Dark Nintendo Night should be here
| | | STOP IT NOW!!
Why couldn't you just wait one more album to release a live dvd?
Seriously... so we could see the entire AA Suite... and because of that, you can pretty much guess they're putting out another live dvd after their next album. -.-
Despite that, I may actually get this just b/c it has a better set list than Score and the dvds before that had horrendous vocal performances.
| | | good, but not great setlist. Not interested in this dvd to say the least.
| | | Good point I didnt think of it that way....
I have a feeling they release the whole AA suite as an ep or single or something, i dunno but i see that happening. Can't wait for the final part thoughm just hope its better than Repentence...but its gotta be right? Figure its gonna include 3 parts like The Glass Prison did, so hopefully it will be just as epic as that was.
| | | that medley sounds intriguing - and as it's got "in the name of god" in it, it can't fail!
| | | I love their DVDs. Plus, I saw them last year and James is definitely back to his best.
Plus, I bet the medley is mindblowing.
| | | This band is funny.
| | | The medley was really awesome when i saw it. It started with the beginning of Trial of Tears, and soon after the part where Labrie goes "Through a Trial of Tears," if i remember correctly, instead of the brief funky guitar break before "Hidden By Disguise...etc" it goes into a solo from Finally Free and into the chorus. Then it goes into the intro of Learning to Live briefly before going into a very length section of In the Name of God (i think the part after the bass break/morse code part) The chorus is repeated twice....and then it goes to Razor's Edge from Octavarium and ends as the song normally ends....it was fucking epic.
That was nearly a year ago when I saw it though....but i think thats roughly how it went.
| | | Yet another Dream Theater compilation without Glass Prison.
fail
| | | ill be getting this for sure.
if nothing else to see if i'm in it because they were recording at the show i went to.
| | | They were mindblowing at last years Download festival, if this is half as good i'll pick it up.
| | | Post 6DOIT music ftl.
| | | more like post ToT
| | | ToT was the beginning of the end for me. But yeah, at least with ToT, I was able to give it more than a few listens.
| | | God I hate this band. It's like watching 5 people masturbate with instruments on stage.
