Snoop Dogg Wants To Rock

2008-01-12 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 20 Comments
Rapper Snoop Dogg has declared that he'd rather rock than rap in '08 in an interview with MTV News.

"I want to work with Madonna, Bono or Mick Jagger," he demanded. "I'm on some rock shit, man! Snoop Dogg, man!"

He added: "Rappers don't really move me too much. They can't do what I did. I'm also trying to get down with something that's outta the box and bigger than me."

Methinks he could do worse than head down his local Kabbalah chapter.

seems like he is getting bored with hip-hop maybe.

i would love to see him to some rock shit. maybe something like body count.

i have to say it's pretty cool to hear about him wanting to branch out. seems like everyone else just keeps doing the same old, same old.

*thinks of Snoop and Jagger rocking in head*

LOL that would be funny, but awesome at the same time.

I would definitely listen to it.

Madonna, Bono, or Mick Jagger? Shouldn't he choose someone... recent?

And is Madonna really rock?

RZA's collaboration with Frusciante kind of pissed me off, to be honest.

So basically he wants to rock with either a pop star, and old washed up geezer has-been who was severely overrated in the first place, or a pompous, self-important jackass who is completely full of himself and his music.
