Misery Signals Farewell Tour

2024-04-02 by Nikkolae | 55 Comments
Its lights out for Mis Sigs, as the Canadian outfit has recently announced "The Blood Is Forever Love Is Forever Farewell tour" featuring both current and past vocalists; Jesse Zaraska & Karl Schubach.

In regards to the tour, the band has posted the following statement on their social media:

Misery Signals has been a band for 22 years, essentially half of our lives. It's afforded us the privilege of sharing stages with bands we admire, who have inspired us. We've forged lifelong friendships with many we've encountered on the road. The responses we've received while performing onstage, coupled with the personal sentiments shared with us offstage, have made these 22 years some of the most cherished moments of our collective lives.

We are eternally grateful for all the support this band has received, and we will never take it for granted. It's time for us to close this chapter of our lives and explore new opportunities individually. We didn't want to conclude this journey without giving our supporters a proper chance to say goodbye. The "Blood is Forever, Love is Forever Farewell Tour" will signify the end of Misery Signals.

A Farewell Tour wouldn't feel complete without our brother, Karl Schubach. These final shows will feature career-spanning sets with both Jesse Zaraska and Karl Schubach performing songs from their respective Misery Signals albums. We're eagerly anticipating seeing you all one last time.

Blood is Forever, Love is Forever - Mis Sigs

"The Blood Is Forever Love Is Forever Farewell tour" will kick off in Vancouver, BC on July 12th and is scheduled to end on October 19th in the band's hometown of Edmonton, AB.

Sad but easier to digest due to their lack of activity for a decade. Wish this was coming near me. Looks like I'll never get to see one of my favorite bands. RIP mis sigs.

Not too devastated over this news, as their glory days have come and gone quite some time ago. Still, sad to see the greatest metalcore band of all time officially hang it up.

Can't wait to see these legends in Milwaukee one last time. BLOOD IS FOREVER

Fuck, I heard rumors they were reaching out to Karl but I thought it was for new material, not this. Been a while since they put out something I dug but still sucks.

Honestly booting Karl was the worst thing they could have done. The last album was underwhelming. Still looking forward to seeing them this summer, hopefully they play a lot of Controller so I can die happy.

I have no idea, I will keep an eye on their setlist. I'm expecting a lot of Controller, and a lot of Of Malice, but maybe they will play the recent stuff for some reason? Who knows. Will wait and see! I wish them the best

Damn not that many dates.

Wish they would YOLO an EP with Karl and Jesse on it but it has seemed like a lot of people in this band hate each other since sometime after Controller.

Stoked to see them at the LA date. 6 hours is an easy drive, I'm glad they decided to do an LA date, I wasn't really wanting to fly to the Midwest. I saw them live twice in the Controller era, glad I did, but it'll be great to see em live with both Karl and Jesse performing their songs as they were intended. Of Malice, Mirrors, and Controller still get played on a bi-weekly basis for me.

I've tossed up moving to Calgary for awhile, maybe this was the push I needed.

For whatever reason I assumed this would be a global tour but maybe they don't have a lot left in the tank and don't want to drag it out

I wish I saw them for the Malice X tour back in the day
