Ferris Wheel Regulars New LP

2023-07-28 by jcurry094 | 2 Comments
Wichita-based Hum devotees Ferris Wheel Regulars have released their sophomore album, Distance Holds the Past. Their 2020 debut, An Ode to Goldenrods and Signals, was the result of an early pandemic self-recording project.

The band leans heavy in the Hum camp within the newer "grunge gaze" movement, with additional calls back to other '90s heavy hitters like Sunny Day Real Estate, Helmet, and alt-rock leaning post-hardcore, a la late career Hopesfall.
