you really don't like Tilting Against Windmills? i actually really dig that song.

whole album rules really. i honestly couldn't name one bad track. this might be their best album (or at least most consistent)

Kezia will always be best.

4 songs in and it's a 3.3 for me. Without prejudice was solid

EDIT: so was yellow teeth

huge nostalgia band for me. first two albums are pretty fun but scurrilous was godawful and so is this. absolute shit

both this and scurrilous are both underwhelming agreed. They're not trash though.

EDIT: so far tilting through windmills all the way through plato's Tribawls just blends together.
Really boring meat of the album. also lol how rody screams so much on a life embossed, when all he
did when they toured on scurrilous was talk about how much screaming sucks. His cleans are so
uninspired on this album. Going down to a 2.5. first two songs are great but thats it. also Rody's
vocals are way the fuck too loud. also why are the drum cymbals so fucking low in the mix, yet the
snare is loud as shit cmon people.

EDIT 2: mist is pretty cool

EDIT 3: Propagandhi guest spot!

Zoop zoop suck it haters! This band is just another rip of Periphery. Fuck them, Periphery came first and Periphery rule all. Even Meshuggah. If you disagree you're an immature idiet.

fucking good album. Much better than Scurrilous.

Much varied and full of great instrumental stuff (and of course Rody still kicks ass vocally), even if being lyrically shitty sometimes.

Plato's Tripartite, Without Prejudice, Drumhead Trial and Clarity are great. If there is one track I didn't like, its A Life Embossed... so many good ideas done in a messy way.

lol i don't even know what to say to that weedblunt... i mean kudos for liking Periphery, i dig them too... but come on man

anyway.. this will probably end up in my top 5 for the year. definitely top 10 even if it slides some

I'm thirty minutes in I think, and it's a drag how boring this is. Rody singing really dumb lyrics really fucking loudly over boring tech shit for most of it. I dunno, maybe it's just cuz it's on YouTube.

Weedblunt, that has to be a joke, right? PTH have been around like 4 years longer than Periphery and if you think Periphery own Meshuggah, you may need to reevaluate, man.

Album's great, but I really miss the screams - they seem to have lost a bit of the hard edge now. I'm enjoying this, but tbh it just sounds like "Scurrilous Part 2" to me on 1st listen

Did you even listen to it? This album probably has the most harsh vocals of any PTH album.

It sounds like they combined elements from every album they've written and mixed it together. Will probably listen to 10 times and then get addicted to it like every PTH release.

Listened a few more times. Definitely dig this more than Kezia and Scurrilous. I'm hearing a lot of very major-y pop-prog melodies everywhere which is pretty fun. The classical outro to mist is AWESOME. It's really impressive how much the riffs have improved from scurrilous too.
