lol what is this
| |
Bad
| |
amazing
almost as good as the new Nelly song
| |
Damn, this new Steel Panther tracks slays hard
| |
"Damn, this new Steel Panther tracks slays hard"
agreed hard
| |
lol
| |
damn what the fuck
| |
I could never get into mustaine's voice.
| |
Scared to hear this
| |
Oh my god...
| |
Lol. On the other hand the artwork is cool.
| |
Seriously why do people still care about this band? Song sucked by the way
| |
the fuck was that shit
awful
| |
What in the name of all that is holy is this shit? I thought all of these comments saying this sucked were just you guys being babies, much the same way everyone trashes 13 when it's a decent record. Holy shit though, this was disgustingly bad. I can write a better song than this in an hour
| |
All of the weed in the world can't make this song good
| |
Incredibly average song, no hooks & predictable lyrics.
| |
"I thought all of these comments saying this sucked were just you guys being babies," [2]
lol, this sounds like the left outs of Cryptic Writings' left outs.
| |
"I thought all of these comments saying this sucked were just you guys being babies," [3]. My eaaaaars!!
| |
I was waiting for something pop oriented for a long time. The System Has Failed is my favorite of their recent albums. I find the last 3 more trashy albums kinda mediocre.
| |
this is really terrible
| |
All of the weed in the world can't make this song good [2]
lmao
| |
Ah crap, I was hoping they'd return to a faster sound, to fit the "Super Collider" title :/ What the hell happened? Since Megadeth's return in 2004 the albums have been decent - great. I hope the rest of the record is better...
I guess they've truly run out of musical ideas. Th1rte3n was a give-away of this too, as the majority of the tracks were simply re-recordings of older songs.
| |
wat the actual fuck this is a joke
| |
i got about 15 seconds in, skipped forward a bit to see if it would get better
it didnt
priming my 1.0
| |
prepare 1 guns
| |
wat. Dave's vocals are terrible. Really. Endgame will probably be better than this and I haven't even heard the rest if the album. Props to the audible bass though.
| |
Endgame was awesome, so it will def be better than the shitpile this will inevitably be
| |
http://plug.dj/riffsoftruth/
| |
terrible song, it already feels outdated
| |
Kinda feels they should have stopped after Endgame.
| |
eww wtf was that
| |
Fuck you David Draiman!
| |
Not that bad. But if the songs of this album are like this this will be their worst album since thw world needs a hero. It sounds like a bland track which came from Cryptic Wings.
| |
what the
| |
Isn't Megadeth thrash? And I thought Draiman was supposed to be on this song.
| |
they are supposed to be thrash, but they often stray
hence the backlash
| |
The Radiohead cover is 1000 times better.
| |
eh?
| |
Yeah, this is generic as ever.
| |
demi, it was a joke. I was talking about the bside from King of Limbs
| |
this isnt awful, not better that anything on 13
| |
@Lioness ahh. still havent checked any Radiohead b-sidez
| |
Some of them are better than the best tracks of their associated albums.
Like "cuttooth", "The amazing sounds of orgy" and "Supercollider"
| |
Pretty generic.
"Super Collider" sounds just like a Van Halen or Journey's album title, so the song is somehow coherent.
| |
I still don't know what a Super Collider is. Is it a dorky sex joke or something?
| |
no, it's a potential DOOMSDAY MACHINE
| |
the hell is this shit?
| |
Somebody named some thing that could theoretically kill every one a super collider?
Was fat man originally called ueber exploder?
| |
lol
| |
It's not horrible, but it's not good either. Heh...I want this album to be good, but with a name like "Super Collider" and a mediocre, not even close to Megadeth sounding song to go off of, my anticipation has waned.
| |
don't forget Draiman
| |
I like Draiman. His only fault is that he strikes me as a bit unrealistic.
| |
I really hope the rest of the album is better then this.
| |
Super shit.
| |
Well, that was a mess.
| |
Yeaaaaah this is bad
| |
damn that's pretty bad
| |
It's a song built for radio.
| |
I have a feeling if this was a different band playing the song it might be more enjoyable.
| |
Well...... I don't have much to say.
| |
well that was lame, glad the bass is audible again though
| |
dave emptied the tank on endgame rip
| |
Wish they had just ended the band with that album so hard
| |
I'm disappointed the band decided to write another shitty record.
| |
awful
| |
Link is down.
| |
Endgame and 13 were both cool...what happened?
I want thrashy stuff : it sounds like one of those albums between youthanasia and the system has failed that nobody really cares about aside from a few songs
| |
"Link is down" [2]
I want to hear how bad it is
| |
I gave up on Megadeth/MegaDave a long time ago. This song is not making me regret it.
| |
Found a link. Youtube's search feature is crap. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-PoGt7IwcE
| |
Only one song out and it's already album of the year yeahhh.
| |
was this an official song release on youtube? why is it a copyright claim?
| |
it dun work miiin
| |
Perhaps its been taken down to spare us all of this awful cheesy, uninspired song.
| |
copyright strikes again!
| |
It was originally played on the Full Metal Jackie radio show, so it was supposed to be a promotional airing, but not an "official" streaming. Thus the stupid copyright claims.
| |
Anyone have a new link?
| |
Dave needs to stop supporting Rick Santorum and find something to be angry about before he writes another album.
| |
Here's a link: http://picosong.com/FFtu/
Also, its kinda crap. I love this band but there's really no excuse for a Risk-esque piece of work. CTE/PS? I think not
| |
Well, it seems that everybody expected another brilliant thrash album. And therein is the problem. People are too quick to dismiss something because it's not what they expected, or in this case, full thrashing metal.
But so what?
Dave obviously meant to go in a more rock oriented direction, and this song shows that he succeeded. It's far from bad, in fact, it's quite well crafted. The bass line is infectious, and the chorus is catchy, even though I admit his vocals don't really fit this style. But I've heard worse.
I see it as a breath of fresh air. Dave tried it with Risk and failed, and it appears as though he's trying it again, and perhaps this will yield better results. Don't say it sucks just because it's not the metal you've come to expect.
At least Dave isn't scared to try something different, or afraid to fail.
And for the record, it is kind of cheesy. But Dave always has some cheese on each album.
| |
but no one is saying the song sucks cause its not metal
the song sucks cause it sucks
| |
Damn. Well, hopefully the rest of the album isn't like this.
| |
oh god this is absolutely atrocious, how is it possible the same guy who wrote this also wrote Tornado of Souls
| |
holy shit this is terrible
| |
I don't wanna live anymore
| |
song was taken down
probably a good thing that i didn't hear it
| |
Here's a link: http://picosong.com/FFtu/
lol
what the fuck is this shit
Those riffs are terrible and does Mustaine still think his voice is good
| |
I think this song is great. I appreciate Megadeth for all the work theyve ever done since the start (except maybe The world needs a hero) and I love how they keep changing their sound. This sounds alot like from Cryptic writings.
From the sample of Dont turn your back, I can say that this may be an interesting album.
| |
Anyone who hears this and doesn't think it's fucking horrible needs to take all of the dildos out of their ears
| |
Don't Turn Your Back sounds a lot more promising now that I've heard the title track.. and upon first listen it was mediocre at best.
Mustaine is capable of much better.
| |
I really thought that this phase of their career was over after World Needs a Hero. I was wrong.
| |
eugh
| |

fucking lol, this song is horrible, people aren't dismissing it because it is a change from the usual, they are dismissing it because it sounds like shit
| |
13 was a letdown but not bad... if this and that other preview are anything to go by the new one's gonna give cryptic and risk a run for their money
| |
wait, i just checked, dave kept that nu-metal clown johnny k around for another album? for fuck's sake dave
| |
Worst song ever
| |
yes this is as bad or worse than risk stuff
| |
This is fucking awful. Sounds like a combination of Risk and that Geoff Tate album.
| |
wow shut up everybody hates you and wishes you were gone from this place
| |
um
| |
I think I'm able to pinpoint what the song sounds like. Y'know those buddy roadtrip comedies, the ones that start out with the main characters driving across the desert and listening to some cliched shitty rock tune on the radio as they're conversing? That cliched shitty rock tune is this. I swear, put the song over the opening of one of those movies and it'd work perfectly.

Not even a shitty comedy would include this piece of trash in their film; so no.
| |
pissing on your legacy 101
| |
seriously where on earth did the band that made endgame go?
| |
can't believe i actually made it through the whole thing
what the fuck happened
endgame wasn't even that long ago
| |
they tried to do outdo metallica again and this is what happens: shit, copy, paste, alter, shit.
| |
This is some of the worst shit I've heard in a while.
| |
makes 13 look like rust in comparison
| |
Good album but the new Hammerkill is better
| |
judging by the studio updates alone this will be awful
| |
Dave wat r u doing
Dave stahp
| |
Endgame is starting to feel like a 45 minute cocktease, Thirteen was flat and now they feel the need to do a reprisal of their late 90's sound
| |
Band is bad and must quit
| |
I have a feeling that this song is an epic trolling.
At least that's what I'm trying to believe.
| |
Am I the only one who thinks that Dave is repeating the 90's thing because of Metallica mentioning that their new album (eventually) is going to be like the Black Album?
| |
When did Metallica say that? If that's true, dear lord..
| |
I have yet to hear anything like that from Metallica. If anything they're hoping to keep it Death Magnetic sounding, last I heard. Troll harder.
| |
