Just thought I'd let any non-UK based Neurosis fans know that I'll be seeing Neurosis and Godflesh at the same gig in December ;-)
Also, this album could be AOTY...but it will have to topple Enslaved which I think is perhaps unlikely.

I didn't compare Neurosis with Enslaved... You can't compare them. I said that both bands are great and their new albums hopefully will slay.

I didn't say Neurosis can't do better than Enslaved, nor did I compare the two. I just said that, already having had a promo of the Enslaved album for a while, I am not sure if the new Neurosis album will be better than the new Enslaved album.
"RIITIIR" is absolutely phenomenal in my opinion. It may not be as good as "Through Silver in Blood" or "A Sun That Never Sets", but it is certainly the best album I have heard this year thus far.
