Jin Akanishi leaves Kat-tun 2010-08-02 by JizzInMyPants | 8 Comments | Kat-tun singer Jin Akanishi has left the group to pursue a solo career, according to Japanese news sources.
The group's manager, Johnny Kitagawa, is reported to have stated that "the final decision will be made after Akanishi's U.S. tour this fall, but at this point it appears to already be guaranteed."
Akanishi has been touring around Los Angeles since May while the other members of Kat-tun continued touring and promoting their latest album No More Pain as a 5 member group.
