Maybe she'll get a cell with Nergal.

lol poland cmon sending people to prison because they hurt someone's religious feelings... really?
|
| |
wow how pathetic
|
| |
"It is hard to believe in something written by people who drank too much wine and smoked herbal cigarettes."
that's it? people need to lighten up
|
| |
Damn if that was a law in the U.S I'd be on death row lol
|
| |
well that's just fucking dandy...
|
| |
blasphemy charge lol
|
| |
The Polish are incredibly religious, my girlfriend's from there but she's in the minority when it comes to such over the top intolerance of so-called blasphemy.
|
| |
yes but this is still ridiculous. especially because its kinda true
|
| |
blasphemy lol
|
| |
Shouldn't the U.N. be all over this? I would love to see the United Nations defending Nergal and this chick.
|
| |
The polish should hear what George Carlin had to say about religion.
|
| |
The fact that she's engaged to Nergal makes me smell a rat
|
| |
I don't think the UN can intervene with a country's legal sytem. If she broke Polish law then she is liable for prosecution, even if it's for something as ridiculous as this. She's be better moving somewhere that has less archaic ideas. Fucking retarded Catholic bastards.
|
| |
"The polish should hear what George Carlin had to say about religion"
he'd be executed!
|
| |
WHAT A HEaTHEN
|
| |
The fact that she's engaged to Nergal makes me smell a rat
This is a good point. Interesting how someone as goofy as Nergal landed such a hot chick as her.
|
| |
I'm Catholic and I consider this to be fucking ridiculous, everything about Poland is as archaic as it gets, the right to free speech should override any fucking law set down by a government especially in such a country of many faiths
Also they're in the music business so pretty much anyone can nab anybody in the business because once you make it in the business you become insane. Its how it goes
|
| |
There's no doubt she's an idiot, and she'll probably lose a few dozen fans for this, but jail time for not having political correct-ness is going overboard.

Polish women are actually quite PHWOAR
|
| |
and apparently Polish men have HUGE foreheads
|
| |
I'm Polish and yes, Poland is about 90% Catholic so it is not terribly surprising that this happened... the same would happen in Italy where Christianity runs rampant. Personally I am an atheist.
|
| |
What a stupid country.
|
| |
Start burning churches in Poland.
|
| |
They can take this to the ECJ, everything'll be fine.
My understanding of the European Convention of Human Rights is that if she is convicted she may be able to appeal. Same with Nergal.
|
| |
Haha. Doda convicted? Impossible. Burning churches also. What a stupid idea. And not a stupid country. People are really nice here.
|
| |
"What a stupid country."
You take the actions of a few and apply it to the entire country? Wow... you're just... an idiot.
|
| |
Well no actually it's not the actions of a few dick face, it's the actions of the state seeking to prosecute her for expressing her opinions.
So yeah you're the idiot here friendo.
|
| |
So suddenly the entire judicial system of a nation-state immediately represents the people of that nation's sediments? Go to school and learn something, or just fuck off, your pick.
|
| |
nevermind.
|
| |
Start burning churches in Poland. (2)
|
| |
@2muchket: You're so easily fooled. This blashemy charge is probably one of many actions of her record company in order to garner so popularity abroad.

Job for a Burzum.
Someone call in Varg.
|
| |
Oh and I'm not doubting that it could possibly be a publicity stunt.
And yeah idiot if you knew anything about how legal matters work you'd know there the governments in forming laws try to mirror the public morality and beliefs in the form of statutes. i.e. The UK Government making homosexuality in the 60's.
I'm sorry but if you can't see how archaic it is to suppress someone's beliefs and charge them with what is essentially blasphemy, and how this reflects negatively on the country, then I won't waste my energy arguing with you.
This is not the middle east, Poland is apart of the EU which is a liberal state.
|
| |
Yeah do a fucking real crime and burn a church. Then they can have some hurt feelings.
|
| |
It's definitely a publicity stunt, not even probably. Doda said many controversial things before. So why now is she suddenly supposed to be convicted. Lol. You're so easily manipulated. I live in Poland and I've never heard about it.
|
| |
well this time it was on TV so thats probably why
and no offense but how fucking slow is the Polish judicial system? it took them 2 years to finally realise Nergal had ripped a bible in half (oh the horror!) and now 1 year later they noticed that somebody had an opinion on tv lol
|
| |
"well this time it was on TV so thats probably why"
Well. Not really. She has said a lot of controversial things ON TV before.
|
| |
jesus christ he's married to...her?
|
| |
2much: you are stupider than I thought...
Have you ever heard of dated laws? The same applies in this country... our Bill of Rights pertains to militia laws yet do we have those anymore? No... why is it still there then? Because it reflects the population's "beliefs" about armed militias?
Also, the government in Poland creates laws reflecting the public's interest as much as Congress does here in the US, same with the judiciary and even less so with civil law.
I'm a proponent for free speech, but if YOU don't realize that the actions of the government do not accurately reflect the consensus of the nation then you are as dim as a 2 watt bulb. That would be like someone calling the entire populous of the United States fucking idiots all because Obama decided to bomb Nebraska - makes no sense, neither does your logic.
|
| |
I hope this is fake. Otherwise, Poland..... Wow.
|
| |
It's definitely a publicity stunt, not even probably. i'm sorry but there's absolutely zero logic behind this being a 'publicity stunt'. first of all she's being convicted and may have to spend some time in prison or pay a hefty fine. what good are either of these things to her record label?
and secondly, how is this kind of publicity good for her at all in an overwhelmingly Christain country?
|
| |
ugh you fucking idiot let me take this step by step
Have you ever heard of dated laws? The same applies in this country... our Bill of Rights pertains to militia laws yet do we have those anymore? No... why is it still there then? Because it reflects the population's "beliefs" about armed militias?
Yeah there are tonnes of dated laws I know of, which aren't enforced today, and it'd be a logistical nightmare to repeal them all.
Also you're confused as to how law is made. In common law countries such as the U.S and the U.K precedent is established, which civil law bears an equal footing in as much as criminal law, contract, employment, environmental etc. Which of course supplements statutory and delegated legislation. So let me correct you there on your obvious weak understanding of how law is put into force.
And I see no problem with drawing negative connotations, if the democratically elected politicians act in such a ridiculous manner.
If the polish state aren't acting in the general populations interests, as you say, then that strikes me as a pretty poor form of government.
|
| |
lol blasphemy? what is this, the 16th century?
|
| |
Haha. Every publicity is good publicity, my friend. Besides, she's going to pursue her career abroad. I made a small research and this seems to be true (though I still have my doubts). The other case is that she often doesn't really know what she says in interviews. And I've really heard much more insulting things from her. On the sidenote, she can sing, but her music and lyrics are so dreadful. Yuk. So, she probably should be convicted for something anyway.
|

FUCK GOD.
