New Alicia Keys Album 2009-10-26 by fromtheinside | 2 Comments | Multi-Platinum recording artist Alicia Keys will release her fourth solo album,The Element of Freedom, on December 15.
The first and current single from the album, 'Doesn't Mean Anything,' has already garnered success, peaking at 15 on the iTunes charts and 61 on the Billboard 100. A second single has been chosen, 'Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart,' but no release date has been confirmed.
During an interview with B.E.T.'s 106 & Park, Keys described the album: "I just want you to feel a sense of freedom, I want you to feel out-of-the-box, feel inspired... You're definitely going to be taken on a trip, I know you're going to be shocked, you're going to hear things that you probably didn't think that I would sound like. It's a journey."
