BARONESS has posted a second preview track, "A Horse Called Golgotha", from their highly anticipated new album Blue Record at their MySpace page: MySpace.com/YourBaroness. "A Horse Called Golgotha" can be streamed along with Blue Record's intro track, "Bullhead's Psalm", and its successor, "The Sweetest Curse". Blue Record, the follow-up to 2007's Red Album, is set for an October 13th North American release date and is available for pre-order at this location.
BARONESS has recently announced the dates for their first-ever Australian tour. The band will be touring in support of Blue Record as part of the massive Soundwave Festival. The traveling festival will also include FAITH NO MORE, JANE'S ADDICTION, AFI, MESHUGGAH, PENNYWISE, SUNNY DAY REAL ESTATE, ISIS, and many more. A listing of dates and cities can be found below with complete festival details available at SoundwaveFestival.com. Additional international BARONESS tour dates will be announced shortly.

Pretty good song. That weird dance-music drumming from the first bit of the song sounded kinda cool. Song is good!

Haha, that drumming was so amazing at the beginning and that guitar solo was very unexpected (and awesome).
This is a really good track, quite a bit of variety in these two tracks released from the Blue album. Can't wait for this album either.

I actually laughed at a couple of parts in this (in a good way). Expecting album to rule.

I refuse to listen to any advance singles from any artist.

I like to be completely fresh for the album.

WOW!!!

This album is probably gonna rule bigtime.

The song kind of reminded me of Torche because of its good vibe.

I hated this band live, and this new track isn't much better. Along with High On Fire they almost ruined an Opeth show for me.
