I wish bands told the truth. They could just say, yeah it's a re-hash of our last album cuz it sold a kajillion copies and made us all rich.

well i might as well check them both out seeing as i dont have nearly enough doom metal xD

If you're looking for good doom and not purple emotive avoid STS unless you get their first album which is cool. Otherwise go to last fm and preview them there.

Daylight Dies is nowhere near as good as Swallow The Sun. Or were. Swallow The Sun have just kept going downhill because they don't know how to write new tunes.

Maybe this one will have some new stuff, or maybe it's just another rehash of The Morning Never Came. We'll have to see.

I like Daylight Dies, but swallow the sun is better imo. Probably just because they were my intro to Doom.
