God Forbid Cover Muse

2008-08-14 by Athom EMERITUS | 23 Comments
According to guitarist Dallas Coyle, God Forbid will be covering Muse's "Stockholm Syndrome" for their upcoming album.
Quote:
My brother is a big fan of Muse so we covered the song 'Stockholm Syndrome'. We were worried as hell about it but in the end it sounded pretty killer! The record is sounding very good so far from the test mixes we've been receiving. I know before I said I had no idea what it sounds like but now I do: It sounds CRAZY!

Well I think Muse is about as lame as it gets so I can't see how I could like this less than the original.

Stockholm Syndrome is a pretty tight song so I'll be interested to hear this.

God Forbid was always so mediocre though.

Well, if they ruin it at least they didn't ruin one of Muse's better songs.

Muse's best song is definitely Citizen Erased. F*cking epic.

"also AP, muse is incredible."

You think they are incredible, I think they are incredibly boring. Opinions are a beautiful thing.

God Forbid will make that song actually tolerable.

^^^ 123. God Forbid will always be underrated and underappreciated by the sputnik community. Every time I hear To The Fallen Hero it gives me the willies.

Stockholm Syndrome is elite, God Forbid is not.

I foresee future complications

Never heard of them. But I love my self some muse and wouldn't mind hearing other artists giving their music a twist.

God Forbid are ok even though i never listen to them anymore. thats an awesome Muse song so it will be turned into a mediocre soft metalcore song

God Forbid is about as good as metalcore gets, although theyve got a lot of other elements mixed in there.
