Velvet Revolver Record Tracks 2008-04-12 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 10 Comments | According to a brief posting on the website of his reformed side-project Loaded, Duff McKagan and Velvet Revolver have continued recording since sacking frontman Scott Weiland on April 1.
According to McKagan: "I just left Matt’s where we laid down 12 new jams….KILLER! Kick ass people!"
Loaded are scheduled to release the follow-up to 2002's Dark Days sometime this summer, with a tour of the US and Europe to follow in the months thereafter.

hahahahahahahahahaha they suck, regardless of the singer. Lets face it, Slash is a great guitarist, but his musical output has been pretty minimal.

I disagree with you Swine. Thats just your opinion, really. I could say the same damn thing about all of Pearl Jam. Granted the last album was terrible because Scott was involved. Call me what you may, but I have a hard time with people insulting Slash.

Im on swines side. Unfortunately (and I say unfortunately because Axl Rose is such a wanker), Slash (indeed all of GnR) have showed no sign of any meaningful songwriting ability since they all left the band.

Which is a shame because we all loved Slash's classic songwriting...I believe he wrote Knockin' On Heaven's Door, and Live and Let Die...yes what a songwriter he was. No wait...he was the guitarist.
