This recent Roundhouse Tapes maneuver that Opeth has pulled on us has really turned me off of their band. Sure, i still love their music, but now they're just getting cocky.

I really don't think Opeth has anything to do with this. Roadrunner Records is trying to go for the easy cash grab these days ie. re-re-re-releasing everything on their fucking label. Opeth are way better than this. This is just one of the downfalls that happens when you sign to a major label.

Sad news. But yeah I think the band had close to no part in the decision.

Yea im gonna take this as a "D.T.A" because how can it go from like 2 months in the new year to all the way September?? And when the new Opeth record drops the Roundhouse DVD in gonna be put to the back. Lets just hope the record wont be pushed back that far.

That's a shame. But I doubt it's anything to with the actual band. Sounds to me like Roadrunner are pulling a fast one and being pretty dickish about it.

It's not on Roadrunner though. They went back to one of their old labels.

I have been told. Thanks for the info. This sucks balls that these labels need the quick cash in. I'm still convinced this is out of Opeth's hands.
