Los Angeles, December 6, 2007 - Flogging Molly has never played by any one set of rules. The band, notorious for following their bliss and throwing caution to the wind, has created a masterful album. Flogging Molly hasn't needed to rely on commercial radio or video play to achieve their cult-like status. Flogging Molly's most recent album, "Within A Mile Of Home" debuted at #1 on Billboard's Independent Artist Chart and #20 on Billboard's Top 200 Chart, and their 2006 DVD documentary release "Whiskey on a Sunday" was recently certified "Gold" by the RIAA.

St. Patrick's Day may be a couple of months away, but for Flogging Molly the festivities start February 1st, when they kick off their annual Green 17 tour. Now in its 4th year, the tour was created to spread out the revelry of St Patrick's Day, which is traditionally celebrated each year on March 17th, to 17 cities across North America. The Green 17 Tour packages Flogging Molly with artists that represent music from a diverse musical spectrum.
