By all accounts he was an abusive drug addict so I guess it's no surprise that was his downfall, sad ending all round and especially heavy for his kid, hopefully he manages to live a good life

Very unfortunate, another child-star thrust into the spotlight without the means and mentality to deal with such fame. RIP
|
| |
Mental Health issues brought about by early fame and the bubble that comes with it exacerbated by drug use and being on the piss.
Can’t help but feel sorry for the bloke. A puppet caught by the trappings and who never truly lived.
|
| |
A young man who gained too much fame and fortune but like so many others struggled to cope and turned to drugs. Now a young son will have to grow up without his father. Very very sad
|
| |
yeah but in saying that fame, mental health issues, exposure to drugs and alcohol etc explains but doesn't excuse abuse - people still need to take some degree of accountability for their actions unless they're completely psychotic
I mean if we're all just victims of circumstances then how do we make any sort of judgement of anyone's character? it's obviously healthier to consider all the contributing factors rather than writing people off as natural born scumbags but it can become a bit of a slippery slope as well if we end up sympathizing more with an abuser than their victims or downplaying the severity of their behaviors (not to say that's the case here but in general)

Oh no...anyway...

RIP

Agreed with all of you. RIP
|
| |
he's the british version of aaron carter
sad, rip
|
| |
Balconies + intoxication + mental health issues are never a good combination. Very sad that he unfortunately wasn't able to get the help he needed in time.
RIP, and I hope his kid/family/friends/fans can heal.

The most popular guy from my high school died after jumping from a balcony as well after prom night celebrations whilst on acid. Apparently he was having a bad trip so his friend locked the door, forgetting that the balcony was accessible.
His dad was high up in the police and went Liam Neeson and infiltrated a Chinese drug cartel that had manufactured and exported it
|
| |
Drugs can get to absolute fuck
|
| |
I may have never liked his music but man this is such a tragic loss. R.I.P. dude
|
| |
"Oh no...anyway..."
Fuck off. He was 31 years old and has a son. RIP
|
| |
yeah don't be a cunt
|
| |
"Oh no...anyway..."
Fuck off, I swear some of these random users around these parts are complete shitheads.
|
| |
RIP. Looked like he had a stunner with him too, drugs are bad
|
| |
Bad indeed.
|
| |
He was a massive piece of shit. I feel bad for his kid, and his victims who are gonna get the blame for this
|
| |
"He was a massive piece of shit."
yeah mate he's dead good one!
|
| |
If they ever do a reunion tour will they rebrand as 4/5's Direction?
|
| |
rest in peace
|
| |
“… his victims who are gonna get the blame for this”
I have not seen a single sentiment that leads to people blaming his victims for what happened. Not really sure where you are pulling this from.
RIP though, my wife had been reminiscing on 1D over the last two weeks so this was hard on her.
|
| |
i haven't seen that either. there have been mentions of his recent erratic behaviour though
|
| |
"He was a massive piece of shit."
source: I made it up because ha ha fun to hate on boy band amirite?
|
| |
could be fun depending on the one expressing that opinion
|
| |
he's been accused of being abusive by a previous girlfriend, as far as i can tell
|
| |
He was also groomed by the mother of his child Cheryl Cole (who's 10 years older than him and knew him as a minor)
Dude's life was messy, it's unfortunate

She met him when he was 14 and she was 24 and yet she had a child with him once he was an adult
|
| |
I'm curious about them reporting it as a fall. The dude was suicidal and zonked out of his mind on substances. Are they not reporting it as suicide to prevent a chain reaction?
|
| |
I’m pretty sure they confirmed he jumped unfortunately
|
| |
Never heard any of their songs except Bye Bye Bye played in the Deadpool 3 film. I'll play Jumper by 3eB for him. Hope he listens to rock music.

Christ some users are insufferable edgy twats.
Rest in peace.
|

imagine being happy about a 31 year old dying because you dont like the music they produced. Really brings new meaning to the word cunt.

fucked
RIP
|

Pretty crazy that grown men in their 30s are commenting some of the stuff in this thread
|
| |
"Christ some users are insufferable edgy twats."
It's pathetic, but there will always be those kinds of people on the internet, unfortunately.
|
| |
just because people are in their 30's doesn't mean they have grown at all, as this thread proves.
|
| |
Goodbye Liam.

I think Sam Pounds has done the right thing delaying the release of the single he did with Payne. Was supposed to come out on Friday and we all know it would have shot to #1 worldwide and he'd've raked it in but instead he's decided it would be in poor taste and will donate the proceeds to a cause of the Payne family's choosing when the time does come to release it (no date set yet, probably some time next year).
|
| |
Feel awful for his kid and family
|
| |
damn, it turns out he was drugged and 3 people are being charged for their involvement in his death
