Meh
| |
Stunning chorus, catchy af melodies, rhythm section on point. So much better than The Void.
| |
Holy shit this is so goddamn good
And yeah, The Void was incredibly underwhelming but I fuck with this hard
| |
this ones okay i liked the void more
| |
Pretty solid alt rock/metal tune to turn your brain off to. Chorus sounds like an edgier Hikaru Utada song lol.
| |
I love this band so much. can't do wrong for me lol
| |
nothing really special for this band. was hoping they would use josh's vocals a bit but we will see.
| |
it's fine, not no Trust Fall but fine
| |
We need more Josh
| |
Pretty generic unfortunately. And I'm really not into their overproduced sound, especially the vocals.
| |
Yeah this rules. Has a nice Architects-sounding riff and the melodies are catchy without beating you over the head with it
| |
Slaps
| |
starts off a lil meh but the 2nd verse onwards goes hard
| |
their riffs are always sick, never been a fan of the vocals tho
| |
This and The Void are both p good. I'm all for calling Eternal Blue overproduced but I don't mind this more floaty ethereal sound
| |
@henry if we're being totally honest.. the fact that the vocalist is an attractive female is about 80% of where their popularity lies
| |
^ Oh no god forbid a band being fronted by someone who's both talented AND attractive truly an outrageous concept.
| |
Boring
| |
spiritworld>
| |
this and Void are both bangers, hyped for the EP
| |
Cool song
| |
"if we're being totally honest.. the fact that the vocalist is an attractive female is about 80% of where their popularity lies"
I hate comments like this.
| |
I like Josh's singing in AILD, but I'm not 100% his vocal style would fit this band. I'll be interested to see how/if they incorporate him vocally or if they let him stick to bass.
| |
Spiritbox was promising (The Mara Effect for example), but nowadays they sound more and more generic, latter Architects-like, which is obviously a bad thing.
| |
They could've go the Belcarra way but choose super catchy pop metal and I'm all for it
| |
Evanescence-core
| |
Ya i just played Bring Me to Life and this back-to-back and it literally sounded like the same song twice sooooo
| |
except it was the AI version sung by Cartman and it still sounded literally the same??? can someone explain???
| |
this band fuckin blows
I have a friend that’s pissed they’re not headlining any shows around us and are opening for like Papa Roach and Shinedown and shit.
Idk how you can be mad at that. They fit perfectly on that bill whether you want to admit it or not
| |
Not a bad song. Nowhere near as good as The Void though
| |
main riff rules and that chorus is gonna be stuck in my head for a while
| |
OMG it’s artiswar
| |
Nice to see that music hasn't really evolved since 2005.
| |
I don't know that this pushes their sound into new territory much, but I liked it enough to pre-order the EP.
| |
you know its a quality band when papa roach chooses them as an opener lol
| |
Don’t like this band.
| |
I saw this band open for Underoath and was bored out of my mind when they played. I feel like they have the elements to be great but all their songs sound so similar and Courtney's clean vocals don't do anything for me since she doesn't sing with much range.
| |
Also why it seems to me that the singer always has a bored annoyed face like she is been forced to sing in this band
| |

| |
she's self-conscious about her performance. The band is her main thing, trust me she cares about it
| |
Post-Hot Topic-peak peak-Hot-Topic music.
| |
Mike Stringer is the highlight of this band. His writing is top notch and the riffs are so damn catchy and creative.
| |
Great song obvs
| |
Courtney is carrying this band hard cus the rest of them are just throwing b-tier Architects riffs at you.
| |
never cared much for this band and thought the hype over Eternal Blue was hollow gaff, but this track ain't bad
| |
Good song. Band doesn't bring a lot of innovation or anything but they got riffs and her vocals are great
| |
Good stuff, but I'm hoping with the addition of the bassist/vocalist from As I Lay Dying, that the potential there is utilized and some vocal trading takes place in at least one of their songs they release later.
| |
^ if you listen closely to The Void you can hear Josh doing background vocals. It took me like 10 listens to notice
| |
Stringer is a riff machine, song rocks
| |
I went off this band when they seemed to veer away from their belcarra/Mara effect sound.
| |
Man, whatever they did production-wise on the last refrain of the chorus here is nice.
First a whole new guitar layer(?) is added, then she does a little key change. Opens it up so wide. Love it. These two tracks continue to grow on me.
| |
Great song
| |
Good stuff. Looking forward to the rest of the EP
| |
Checked the new song
It's catchy, but I forgot about the amount of pitch correction. That just doesn't sit right with me
| |
It's fine but I think the chorus is a little flat.
| |
Ur mom’s ass is a little flat
| |
#rekt
| |
Those cleans almost put me to sleep
| |
Yea
| |
My interest in this band wanes the more they devolve into an Architects clone. Their first EP was so unique to me and they've just fallen into this anthemic nu-metal worship that I just vibe with less. They're all really talented but the songwriting isn't doing it for me as much anymore.
| |
that chorus isn't flat it's infectious. Can't get it out of my head in the best way possible
| |
It's nice enough but...haven't we been doing this since like 2011?
| |
if it ain't broke
| |
Good song, but I see myself getting bored due to the plastic sound soon.
| |
the last 30 seconds of this song fucked me up. Keep doing you Spiritbox
| |
you really like this art?
I feel like you normally have some decent takes but man this is just so boring.
Like this isnt terrible by any means, but it’s almost offensively dull imo
| |
art has always been in love with Spiritbox, as long as I can remember at least
| |
This is a very catchy song, I like it.
