New Horrendous LP, Aug 18th 2023-05-24 by Fernando Alves | 22 Comments | Progressive death metallers Horrendous have completed their work on their fifth studio album, Ontological Mysterium, and are now unveiling its first single 'Ontological Mysterium'. You can stream it below.
Band comments: "The album is our loveletter to the bombastic spirit of heavy metal music from the 80's and early 90's. Ontological Mysterium is an allegorical tale of creation, the formation of organic life, and the inadvertently and ironically destructive fate of unbound growth and uncontrollable reproduction. It represents the wild voracity of youth and inevitable transition into the gradual decay of aging in its various forms, fulfilling the unbroken circle of a biological existence".
Ontological Mysterium is out August 18th through Season of Mist and it was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Damian Herring at Subterranean Watchtower Studios.
