Septa release animated video 2023-05-10 by Eugene Tymchyk | 4 Comments | Ukrainian mathcore-turned-prog-metal band Septa have released an animated music video for the opener "Emet, 'truth'" from their latest album.
During the songwriting phase of Septa's fifth album, Russia invaded Ukraine, postponing any plans for its release. Instead last year the band released a deluxe edition of their latest project focusing on a more progressive sound that captured themes of war, isolation, destiny. Critically acclaimed art piece Bitten by the Serpent of the Kingdom of the Spirit tells the story about time-travelling Golem sent from the future to prevent the horrors of two World Wars, unsuccessfully though, trapped in an endless loop of failure it tries over and over again.

Glad to hear you're still with us and with a cool video to boot.
| | | Yeah, thanks, hanging in here, too bad we can't tour no more, on the other hand we'll surely have enough stuff to write music about
