Why did they release the closer? Seriously, why does that happen so often lately?

Fortress echos, best part of the track is the bridge and the guitars solos. Cover art is nice too. Waiting for it, because this should be nice followup to Fortress that I've mentioned in the first line.

Song is extremely average. The instrumentation is pretty good, but Myles vocal quality is going downhill and the lyrics are so cheesy as usual. They've been really disappointing after Fortress

Yeah this has more of a Fortress flavour for sure which is nice.
Didn't give the last two a proper listen but I didn't hear anything too interesting on them when I gave the a once over.
I really don't like when they go for the generic uplifting lyrics and choruses. They sound phoned in and cliche.

Bit better than what I remember on the last two, but still pretty middle of the road across the board. Seems like the band aren't interested in following through on the progress they made with Firtress and are content to churn out the same safe radio metal.

Always had a soft spot for these guys, and am a lot more excited for the album after hearing this one. Already seems a fair bit better than WTS and The Last Hero, but that remains to be seen.

I don't know why, but this band just bores me now. I used to love them too. Everything is just starting to sound the same and nothing really catches my ear. Nothing will beat the first two albums for me.

yup, it's an Alter Bridge song so not expecting much from this

at least it's 10 tracks so I'm hoping it'll be shorter

This song is plagued by the same thing that plagued WTS and The Last Hero. Generic riffs, generic vocal melody and political undertones. It seems like after Fortress they decided that heavy riffs were the most important thing to focus on which sucks. It's basically a Tremonti album.

This is easily their best song since Fortress, hands down! Looking forward to this, hoping they bring back what made these guys special in the first place. The last album was a massive let down.
