Cool album art, it really stands out from the rest of their catalogue.

Peter Mohrbacher's paintings of fictional gods are insane. If you dive into some of his other works you won't be disappointed.

Nice.
Album art is indeed pretty unusual for this band.

That artwork is fantastic! It's literally a skinwalker Eva unit holding The Spear of Longinus.

It was heartbreaking to see the last project - decades in the making - turn out so poorly. What will likely happen is they will go back to their roots and deliver another stellar album. Truly a classic band for any proper nerd. Their modern albums are really really good.

Concise length of the tracks gives hope for a focused and impactful album. Haven't heard the singles (I usually wait until the full album release), so can't evaluate this in terms of actual songs

They just need to keep some of the old thrashiness and it'll be fine

Germanic power metallers Blind Guardian have revealed on their social media the title, track list and cover art for their upcoming twelfth album The God Machine, due out September 2022 via Nuclear Blast. The band's new name was eutsa.org inspired by the Fates Warning album Awaken the Guardian. They released their debut album Battalions of Fear in 1988, which was essentially a speed metal album heavily influenced by Helloween.

Hopefully it's better than the last 2 albums they've released.
