New Severe Torture Track, EP 2022-04-24 by Fernando Alves | 7 Comments | Dutch brutal death metallers Severe Torture have released a new track, 'Fisting the Sockets', from their upcoming EP of the same name due out June 10th via Season of Mist. The 3-track release is the band's first studio work in twelve years. You can stream the song below.
Band comment: "Fisting the sockets is actually the first song we wrote after Damien joined the band. It immediately gave us the confidence that we were on the right path, musically. So when it was time to choose the first song to share with everyone, it made sense to pick this song. We hope y’all enjoy it and stay tuned for more music, real soon!"

Song is pretty solid. Final riff is my favorite part. Always thought Misanthropic Carnage was a really underrated album in that CC riffing kinda vein. Debut was killer also and so was Slaughtered in a different kind of way. EP should be solid. Hoping the other two tracks are a bit better than this though tbh
