RIP Roman Kostrzewski 2022-02-10 by terriblekonrad | 5 Comments | Roman Kostrzewski, the vocalist of the metal band Kat, and later Kat & Roman Kostrzewski, died at the age of 61 – members of Kat & Roman Kostrzewski informed.
Kostrzewski sang in Kat for over 20 years, from 1981. His voice was featured on the band’s most famous releases. In 2004, due to a conflict with guitarist Piotr Luczyk, he left the band and continued his career under the name Kat & Roman Kostrzewski.
The KAT and Roman Kostrzewski Facebook page remarked:
"It happened that we did not want to let our consciousness for a long time (...) We inform with great sadness and shattered hearts that today Romek passed away. He fell asleep peacefully, surrounded by good care and with his loved ones. He does not hurt anymore.
See you in Hell my Friend!"
