He apparently also did keyboards, was probably a songwriter. Don't know enough of the band to know what his role was but if he wasn't doing anything then he probably would've quit earlier lol

the biggest allegation that you’ll find if you look this situation up isn’t against Alex, it’s against someone who lived with Alex. Apparently this all started with that, I can’t actually find any allegations against Alex himself. I do know that the band have been aware of the allegations for a while, but it took a LOT of pressure for them to do anything, like this was brought to their attention a while back and they straight up ignored it

Had no idea this was a thing. Big yikes. I am glad the band parted ways. The fact that they did not do so initially says to me that they took things seriously and looked at it from a few angles.

Seems like the band was in a tough place and had to do this as damage control.

They're literally releasing an album tomorrow, damn. I mean, it's never a convenient time to have to kick out a band member for being a pervert, but that especially sucks

in the liner notes of their new album, there’s a couple images of Brian and Lynn (mostly Lynn obviously) but I can’t see Alex anywhere, which makes me think they knew very much about the allegations but chose not to act until the last minute with mounting pressure
