Mother of Millions look to the Sea 2026-08-18 by John Marinakis CONTRIBUTOR | 2 Comments | Mother of Millions have released The Innocent, the second single from their forthcoming concept album, T, following July's The Wound.
The band reinterprets the Greek myth of Aegeus through the image of the solitary king watching the sea and awaiting his son's return. By transporting the ancient tragedy into the present, the song examines the pain and horror of war from the perspective of its nameless victims, refugees and displaced people.
Due September 11 through ViciSolum Productions, T follows 2024's Magna Mater. The album explores war, death and eternity while connecting the work of nineteenth-century American poets with that of twentieth-century Greek writers.

Never heard of these guys. Maybe I'll check them out since they're from Greece and play progressive music, which is an interesting combo. Not many modern Greek bands seem to go down the progressive route.
