nothing crazy special here, but it’s a pretty solid track. sounds a lot more like classic Korn
| |
Solid song, nothing special. I dig that cover art though
| |
Vibin with this. They've really made a comeback with those last two albums. I expect this to be just as solid.
| |
john feldmann lol gross
| |
at least this is gonna be better than that new Slipknot album. It ain't saying much tho
| |
oh hell yea
| |
wtf it's been three years since the last album? Crazy.
These guys are really perfecting their sound. Good job, guys.
| |
"at least this is gonna be better than that new Slipknot album"
be gone thot
| |
these guys are still around?
| |
I did not expect a disc of these gentlemen.
| |
Bit of a weak chorus and lazy bridge but I dig the rest. Crunchy and with a solid Luzier. I also dig the clean artwork.
| |
"these guys are still around?"
no
| |
Pretty cool track actually...glad they're going back to their original sound
| |
seems alright
| |
Does Travis barker do the drumming for every band now or something?
| |
Not digging this as much as the highs of Serenity, but this is still better than pretty much everything else post-Issues
| |
good song, artwork is very nice, especially after the last one *shudder*. John Feldmanns involvement best be minimal otherwise this will completely suck. Although it would be funny to hear Korn play a pop-punk track.
| |
Wow, gotta say I'm impressed.
| |
Y'all wanna single say fuh dat
| |
I feel like these Travis Barker feat. haven't sounded like TB
| |
Sick song. I love it.
| |
I feel like these Travis Barker feat. haven't sounded like TB [2]
| |
This one has some big Issues vibes.
| |
i was gonna say that. Haven't jammed these guys since Issues and this somehow brings me back. Except in the chorus, Davis sounds a bit off though, idk.
| |
well that exists
| |
Good stuff.
| |
John Feldman is Corey Feldman's cousin. (Not kidding)
| |
You gotta respect Korn for making a surprisingly strong comeback. I saw them live recently and they still rock out like they did in the late 90’s.
| |
apparently Billy Corgan co-wrote this.
| |
John Feldman is Corey Feldman's cousin. (Not kidding)
So that’s where John gets his musical talents from.
I mean damn, the Feldman family rivals the Jackson family.
| |
contrary to what eons claims, they aren't related at all.
| |
This just sounds like Korn.
Slipknot is at least trying a different sound.
You guys are so damn boring.
| |
Im kinda amped for this honestly. I heard the new Slipknot thing and Im not expecting much from their new album. I kinda accepted that and hey Korn to the rescue. Who knows though, maybe we'll get lucky and have both turn out to be good. The track from Korn that's out right now though is really solid though in my opinion
| |
@RATTFINK To be fair, Korn's attempts at trying different sounds throughout the years didn't pan out. At least not for me. (Untitled, Path of Totality, etc) where is this new Slipknot sound you're talking about though? Cant say I've heard it, as you surely cant be talking about Untainted or All Out Life, right? I admittedly dont follow them, so I could have easily missed something else
| |
Jesus that was horrendous
| |
I agree that hopefully John Feldmann's involvement is minimal... apparently Nick Raskulinecz who produced the last album is also involved though, so that should help
| |
Not bad at all.
Issues vibes makes sense as it’s the 20th anniversary this year.
| |
God damn. 20 years. I remember being in middle school and staying up late the night before Issues released. Korn did a live performance of the entire album that was broadcasted on radio stations.
| |
Eh, never got the hype over this band
| |
Wish Jonathan would give up the angsty shit..
| |
Whoa! Solid indeed. I actually liked the chorus, seemed AIC inspired. Maybe something to do with the upcoming tour.
Korn has tried different things in the past. Both SYOTOS and Untitled have a very different Korn sound to them. Handful of bad songs on each one, but there are some pretty cool things about those two albums. Of course POT was pretty bad.
Korn's last two albums have been solid. Their best since Untouchables. Hoping this is no different.
| |
Just listened finally. I’m in the middle. Not bad, not great. A little boring and rote imho.
| |
This sounds like Paradigm Shift through Serenity lens and I'm starting to appreciate this song as a "predictable single".
| |
pretty par for the course for KoRn, hope everything else on the album is better
| |
Pretty good I like it.
| |
"Wish Jonathan would give up the angsty shit.."
I bet he would, if his wife didn't die recently
| |
"I bet he would, if his wife didn't die recently"
fucking oof
I don't think we're going to get any meaningful songs about how he feels about his wifes death on an album with a song titled "H@rd3r" (what will no doubt be "Beat it Upright Pt. 2"). This is Korn.
| |
The dubstep stuff was their best shit
| |
Pretty sure Davis' obsession with his usual themes isn't because of a simple angsty phase. Like sure a discography built on it looks cheesy but that's just an external point of view.
| |
Good song, pretty hyped for the album
| |
"The dubstep stuff was their best shit"
Big
Oof
| |
Mini oof
| |
Sounds like old Korn again which is a good sign coming off the last album too.
| |
Jonathan Davis is one of the few “angsty” singers that has seemed genuine to me through the years. I mean you can just watch any interview with the guy and see that he’s riddled with anxiety and not mentally stable. Money and success doesn’t magically take that away. I respect he keeps doing his thing and has actually became a better vocalist over time.
