Seems like a very caustic and callous comment to make. Not even remotely funny and just stupid.

Hopefully they caught it early enough for treatment to be quick and successful. Maybe they'll bring in a few guest vocalists for the album if they still plan on pressing ahead with it, so that Dave can give his voice as much rest as possible.

Megadeth is genuinely one of my least favorite bands and i never even really cared for Dave as a personality. but regardless of all of that, this is still horrible news and that he can get the best treatment available. given with how much of an influence him and Megadeth have had only so many people i care about, i genuinely wish him the best. well wishes
