Which album would you equate this track to? It’s been years since I listened to them, so any nostalgia I have of them isn’t helping me at all lol.

it's not as dense or fuzzy, but the vibe definitely reminds me of Swoon moreso than anything off their last couple albums. the overall mood and increased reverb is reminiscent, plus the strings remind me of The Royal We and the build-up is similar to Growing Old Is Getting Old.

still needs more of the old crunch but this is good yes, that blend of shoegaze and hard rock/grunge is what made Carnavas and Swoon so great

I love Silverstein but this A. band is better and B. judging by some of your ratings you would probably like their first couple albums at least

@Neek, I don’t hate Better Nature, it’s just my connection with the album isn’t as immediate as it was for “Carnavas” or “Swoon”. Not gonna lie, it took me ~6 months and multiple listens to (finally!) get into “Neck Of the Woods”; for me, it just takes some time.

I really like Neck of the Woods a lot, but didn't care for Better Nature much at all. This single seems pretty good. Not great, just good

soooooo excited for their new album, Better Nature was a grower and my friend group still adores Friendly Fires so that album will always hold a special place in my heart. never been disappointed by a release of theirs, one of the most consistent bands imo

Same for me. Their first two albums hold a special place for me, and the two following took time to grow on me, but overall they're a very consistently good band for me. Looking forward to this one.

Stoooooked. One of my favorite alt bands so I'll definitely be jamming this when it comes out.
