I know I might be a little bias, but I think it's fair enough for me to say this is the song of the year band of the year decade millenium
| |
New song is tight! Moronic music video, but I think that’s expected at this point
| |
Solid song
| |
Another uneventful song. Ever since Tilian took the reigns, these guys just drop the same song over and over.
| |
Songs okay.
| |
reminds me of Instant Gratification which is not my favorite DGD album, but it's still pretty nice
| |
These dudes are unstoppable holy cow. With every new release they sound more fresh and defined as a band. I really hope they drop another full length this year. Who can complain about yearly DGD music?
| |
Great tune. Gives me Acceptance Speech vibes. Video is fun too. These guys just don’t have “disappointing” in their vocabulary it seems
| |
To me this doesn't really sound like anything they've previously done, though I KIND OF see the Acceptance Speech comparisons given how energetic the song is and how weird the hook is. Either way, who cares if the song structures have become more similar, they've found their niche and the songs are catchy so....? What more does one want from DGD?
| |
This sounds extremely amazing. 5 outta 5
Those riffs are stellar.
| |
Song is tight, video is fun
| |
holy fucking FUCK
| |
its a bop
| |
well now I know what tilian looks like
anyway that song SLAPS
| |
this goes hard, crossing my fingers for a late 2019/early 2020 full length
| |
sounds like a dgd song idk lol still super solid tbh
| |
it's better than like half of ArSe
| |
Eh idk about that
| |
Really wish this band would slow down. I feel like every time I go online they have a new album out
| |
this is better than anything off of AS
| |
needed another Jon verse tbh. that part with the clean guitars, the cute syncopated thingy, and jon talking about 15 foot parkas was the bees knees
| |
Incredibly catchy and solid per usual, Tilian's hooks are so god-damn good.
| |
This was great, big Acceptance Speech vibes, especially on Jon's parts
| |
Band is getting too repetitive.
| |
Ranking the one off DGD singles. Summertime Gladness>>Pussy Vultures(Im a sucker for when Tilian comes in)>>Head Hunter. This song has some really cool ideas but Tillians part seems pretty unispired compared to some of his hot fire from even the last album. anyway DGD rules new album this year plz
| |
Song goes absolutely nowhere.
| |
the song jams but it's just so predictable/by the numbers
| |
Has Instant Gratification/Acceptance Speech vibes for sure. But it doesn't do that much. The thing where Jon spells out B L E S S T H I S M E S S is pretty catchy. It is by no means bad because DGD just always write hits, but its pretty standard. Not much of the experimentation they had with ArSe.
| |
Most boring DGD chorus yet, the definition of repetitive. The bridge and Jon spelling bless this mess is neat but eh.
| |
Song could have done with another Jon verse, agreed
| |
Another killer single. This is way better than anything off ArSe. Heavy AS vibes make my pants tight. Video is standard DGD sillyness with Mess memery
Also pretty sure it's a single, like Summertime Gladness. I wouldn't doubt a new album end of this year/beginning of 2020 tho. Hype for Swanfest
| |
Band sounds good but Jon’s lyrics always ruin it. I like him as a vocalist but his lyrics are unbearable.
| |
tillians lyrics are actually far worse cause half the time he is actually trying and it is still cringy as fuck
| |
“His lyrics are unbearable”
That’s kinda his shtick.
| |
Messed God haters are lower tier than Reddit users
| |
It’s a bad shtick.
| |
yeah and youre a bad user LOL
| |
ya, bozo
| |
Fun song as always. Never disappointed in the years that i've been following them!
| |
Got em
| |
They seem to be turning into a quanitity>quality type band. It's a shame cause I love Instant Gratification, and I hope they take their time with their next album instead of shitting out a new one every year and a half.
| |
Not their best not their worst
| |
Jon's wanted poster even says for "unwanted screaming and poisoning baked goods" lol
| |
^ dude I died laughing when I noticed that. Flashbacks to betrayed video.
| |
Nice, they’ll be playing on their upcoming tour. Can’t wait to hear this song live!
| |
"They seem to be turning into a quanitity>quality type band. It's a shame cause I love Instant Gratification, and I hope they take their time with their next album instead of shitting out a new one every year and a half"
'quanitity', also they used to drop albums every year, sometimes less. Happiness came out literally 6 months after their self-titled.
| |
can't tell if most of these comments are ironic or not
| |
this aint bad. but im gonna stick with dtbm and happiness era stuff
| |
chorus is p trash tho
| |
Alright this shit grew on me LOL. Heavy IG vibes with the guitar and screams. I still think they could have fleshed out that final bit as a nice bridge instead of ending on it. Still solid af though.
| |
damn this song absolutely rules. I didn't love it at first, but that riff. Those vocal melodies. And the track goes on exactly as long as it needed to. Hell yes to this band.
