New Sam Smith single 2018-12-21 by iGuter | 11 Comments | Sam Smith has recently contributed a new song, "Fire On Fire," for the upcoming BBC 1 & Netflix remake of Watership Down. The ballad was also released with a music video.
Watership Down is an upcoming animated mini-series based on the classic survival/adventure book of the same name by Richard Adams. The story follows a group of rabbits who look to find a new home when danger threatens to exterminate them. It was adapted in 1978 as a film and as a television series in 1999. The remake is directed by Noam Murro (Smart People, 300: Rise of an Empire ) and will feature the voice talents of James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, John Boyega, Rosamund Pike, and Ben Kingsley.
The mini-series will premiere on BBC 1 channel in the U.K. on Dec. 22nd and Netflix on Dec. 23rd, internationally.
