New Popela-uh, Copeland Song 2018-11-02 by Rowan5215 EMERITUS | 15 Comments | Florida indie rock mainstays Copeland have released a new song titled "Pope". The song arrived on the back of a marketing campaign featuring Instagram pictures and snippets of unnerving-sounding dialogue. "Pope" itself is a dark, existential track with a glitchy influence on the vocals which follows 2014's Ixora in its more experimental moments, though the sampled dialogue looping throughout the song suggests a new style for the band.
At this time it's unknown if "Pope" is the first single for an upcoming album, but you can hear it below.
