Virgin Black Complete Requiem 2018-09-27 by DarkNoctus | 7 Comments | Australian symphonic doom metal band Virgin Black have finally broken their 10 year silence with news that their devoted fans have longed for. The long-awaited album that completes their three-spanning Requiem series album, Requiem - Pianissimo, has finally been announced with a release date of November 30th.
The album has both a digital Bandcamp release and a one-time only physical CD pressing which comes with a download card, which can be viewed below, with the first two tracks streaming at their Bandcamp link. Requiem - Pianissimo is the very first album in the series and was recorded in 2006 in conjunction with the other albums in the requiem. However, it was not released first. This is due to their then-label's intervention as it was an only-orchestral release and wasn't marketable on a metal label.
