The teasers they've been sharing from the studio sound pretty great, looking forward to more crushing big dick grooves and Chris Barretto's outstanding vocals.

Drink every time someone mentions TesseracT

At this point, the two bands kinda went in different directions. Monuments has a lot more crushing riffage where as Tesseract went forward with more atmospheric moments.

The only real thing Monuments and Tesseract have in common any more is that both bands have members of Fellsilent in them. Soundwise they're leages apart from each other, except for maybe the guitar tones they use.

some of their stuff reminds me of TesseracT's One days. But other than that these guys have much more of a metalcore vibe whereas TesseracT relies more on their atmosphere.

Toondude, you and I disagree on a handful of things.... but apparently this isn't one of them.
