| |
^yep
| |
man this is a kick in the scrotum
| |
Under the radar band news all comments : "YAAA"
Established band news comments mostly : "band sucks, I hope anyone who's a fan of this band dies"
| |
dont worry, Unloved will get plenty of contrarians to drop in now that the band has gained some traction.
| |
Allow me to start the hate train:
Album art sucks.
| |
who cares song rips
| |
"Is this their first release with an actual band and not just the guy the vocalist and a drum machine"
wrong band
| |
also checking the new sectioned and man it rips and now this comes out damn
what a fucking year for mathcore
| |
Yep, it was just him and the vocalist on OM. as for the new one, its not clear. The bandcamp lists the other members but then, just as with OM and The Collapse, it says it was all recorded and produced by Ped in blah blah studios.
| |
I'm pretty sure this is going to be the album that replaces the hole that Danza left in my heart.
| |
im really digging the album art and merch and i havent even heard the song yet
| |
Okay I actually listened to the song full volume on my bluetooth speaker and I love it
| |
unpopular opinion: I prefer the vocalist more on A Dark Orbit, thought his performance was more dynamic, overall find A Dark Orbit more satisfying
| |
Does he do more soft/clean vocals in A Dark Orbit?
| |
Orange 2.0
Sounds like a winner
| |
Dark Orbit is boring as shit, their songs sound like one big breakdown.
| |
A Dark Obit has a more typical deathcore kind of sound. Also Frontierer's production is much more layered. Heavy; but no room for air.
| |
A Dark Orbit blends Messhugah riffs with some metalcore+deathcore bits, some atmospheric pad synths, some doomy post-metal build ups, nothing incredibly innovative, just done well. His vocal performance however doesn't just stay at 100/10 intensity the entire time, and he does this trailing off of his drawn out bellowing shouts (song: Surfacing). They're two different bands and go for different feelings conveyed by his performance, I can appreciate that.
| |
Chad Kapper is incredible! (although some may say doesn't vary his voice much) the fact that he does different things in both bands is awesome! He's my fave screamer at the moment
