KoRn Ponder Covers Album Idea

2007-07-20 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 20 Comments
According to Billboard.com, KoRn may release a covers album in the near future.

Davis told reporters Wednesday (July 18) that the group has already completed recording three, and have been racking their brains to come up with more. "We've already done, like, 'Love My Way' from Psychedelic Furs. We've done 'We Care a Lot' from Faith No More [and Nine Inch Nails'] 'Head Like a Hole.' Those are already recorded. We just gotta get in and do some more."

He added that his personal wishlist includes Prince's 'Erotic City,' Ozzy Osbourne's 'Diary of a Madman' and Debbie Deb's 'Lookout Weekend' as recorded by Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam.

Their last covers were not really what I would deem... worthy of the originals. Not looking forward to this

there is no way they can cover diary of a madman unless they cut out the solo and most of the guitar parts and just add some synth or something. korn is one of the most use/talent- less bands out there

^^ welcome to Sputnik hot stuff ;)

At least it's one of FNM's crappier tracks. As for Korn in general, they ceased all musical relevancy about ten years ago, even though they've pretty much always sucked.

jrowa001,
I also feel this way, even about their old stuff. Even though they got me into metal, I still will never listen to their crappy albums again.

same here, korn definitely got me looking into heavier music. their song Blind is still a great song, they have a couple songs i still listen to but album wise they suck now

Yes, this would be quite the opposite of making music.

It should be illegal for them to cover HLaH. That's just wrong.
