both have obnoxious vocals but I can at least listen to Wattain's. And their songwriting isn't just "play these two riffs over and over for five minutes" unlike SOME OTHER BAND. ;)))))

Those riffs happen to be fucking killer and invoke the wretched spawn of a thousand bastard demons gawd you just don't get it.

Why are people comparing Inquisition to Watain anyway? Completely different bands. Inquisition has one album that's frequently worth revisiting, the rest of their work treads the same path but in inferior ways. Inquisition is a one-trick with only one TRULY classic and formidible album.

Watain's best work can't beat Infernal Regions, but overall they're more diverse and at least try new things. The Hammerheart tracks on The Wild Hunt were a stroke of genius. Looking forward to this new one.
