that intro my fucking god man
| |
Damn this shit's fun as hell
| |
solid track though, not trying to break any boundaries, but making metalcore fun as hell with as many chair-smashing breakdowns that can be possibly fit in a 3 and a half minute song. that's what i love about these guys
| |
Last album kicked ass so I expect nothing less.
| |
rip city wow
never dug their debut but THIS
| |
This kicks so much ass tho
| |
good lord this destroys
| |
Good, seein them tomorrow in Ocala.
| |
Blew out my windows
| |
Thank god their fuckass clean vocalist didn't sing in this. That intro was dope.
| |
this band can do no wrong. this song fucking rips
| |
Those Slipknot riffs tho. Reminds me of old Diecast.
| |
i like how they managed to use the nu metal influence without it completely overtaking how they used to sound. plus the last breakdown really caught me off guard
| |
God this song is so fucking tight, album is gonna be a gut puncher.
| |
this was good, glad the clean vocalist stfu
| |
This blew everything on the debut out of the water, and they didn't have their subpar clean vocalist in it so that's alwasy a plus
| |
Absolutely fucking slays. Wage War are the future
| |
God damn this song destroys
| |
Jonathan Davis. Finally figured out what that initial yell was.
| |
If everything on the new album sounds like this, this shit will be heavier than the latest Meshuggah
| |
Cool
| |
Well they've been playing another new song for a while now that sounds just like their first album.

| |
Surprised to see Sputnik liking this so much. As far as heavy-ass songs The River from the first album is maybe the only song in existence to make me wanna hardcore dance.
| |
Seems like it'll be Blueprints v2..not that its a bad thing
| |
The intro is hard as bricks goddamn
| |
Easily the best newer band in metalcore [2]
| |
Nah
| |
lol not at all
| |
lol not at all [223214234131234]
They're good, but I honestly have no idea why they're put on such a high pedestal
| |
Dynamic screams, well produced and punchy instrumentals, face slamming breakdowns with a hefty amount of technical riffs, what's not to love?
| |
(list of things the band needs): a variety of song structures, kicking their clean vocalist out, interesting lyricism, ballou on prod, etc.
| |
Blueprints had plenty of variety in its song structures (compare songs like "The River" to "Alive"), I don't think they should kick out the clean vocalist, I like his voice, besides we haven't even heard what he sounds like on this new album so maybe he improved even more. The lyricism is perfectly fine to me, and production is fine as well.
| |
Just saw them play this for the first time in Ocala and it fucking murders everything.
| |
The production works really well for their style. Will be interesting to hear how the cleans sound. I wasn't a huge fan of his voice last time around. And I definitely think a lot of the songs on the last album were samey, it was one of the reasons I couldn't get into it.
Hopefully there are improvements all around.
| |
I like this alot more than most of the last album, which I didn't dislike. I really wish they would stop doing cleans though.
| |
Song is solid.
| |
Surprised to see Sputnik liking this so much. [2]
band/song's a banger but nothing new, shocked it's being received so positively tbh. Excited to see where these lads end up
| |
Why is everyone losing their shit over this? Sounds like pretty by-the-numbers metalcore to me...
| |
^^^ Because this generic ass band finally dropped something thats actually worth playing more than one time. That's why. No doubt its by the numbers, but its aggressive enough to get you a lil hype, and there's no shitty cleans thrown in.
| |
Not only that, but the nu-metal influence is actually tolerable and not cringeworthy
| |
There was a pet cobra running loose in Ocala and ADTR promptly made a shirt out of it. The time I spent in line waiting to buy that shirt I ended up missing W.W's set but they sounded good from the distance I was at.
| |
I got elbowed in the back of the head and punched in the nose twice in the pit it was pretty sick tbh.
| |
Somebody sat on my head. Did you see anybody surfing on a crowd surfer?
| |
Yeah a few people surfing on crowd surfers went right by me when Jeremy called for it.
| |
Why do so many people love this band? They sound pretty basic to me, especially with this new single
