Okay this is way better than the last one. They reaaaally need to get out of their comfort zone. They have so much potential and the radio rock format is really holding them back.

These songs have been nice and heavy but I hope there's a good melody or two on the album, otherwise I fear it's going to sound very one-note.

I'm sure there'll be some "OOOOOOOOOOOOONE OOOOOOOOOOOOOCEAN, it's balanced on the EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDGE" stuff in this one if that's what you're looking for.

Holy crap this is way heavier than I expected it to be.

So I been listening to whole Chevelle disco in anticipation for this release. I always heard their singles and random songs but never delved in to their entire disco before. Safe to say this is probably the most consistent mainstream rock band of all time? They don't have a bad album..

^I've been saying this shit for years. The only album you could argue isn't as strong is their first album Point #1, but it's not really the songs that are bad so much as the shit production quality on that album.

Only that point #1 is one of their strongest albums, I'd say hottb is the only weak release of theirs.

Both Chevelle and Deftones have been the best mainstream rock bands in the past decade
