I think it is impressive what they managed to put in a 3m30s long song. This album might work for them as a shot at being more mainstream. At least shortness is not horribly detrimental to the music.

i honestly really like this band but they've been quite accessible for a while now. i don't see how this is a more "mainstream" sound than their last 3 albums. the previous single is a different matter entirely though.

BeyondCosby The Way of All Flesh and From Mars to Sirius are their best albums.

all of their albums are about equally great, with equal amounts of amazing and meh tracks too. L'Enfant Sauvage might be their most consistent work to date, but FMTS has their best songs imo (Flying Whales, Heaviest Matter, Backbone)

yeah the first two albums are somewhat underrated but they also have a bit too much -core influences for my liking. they drag on a bit imo, but they're very solid.

oh shit I forgot about Terra Incognita, never actually listened to that album in full. really not that interested in checking it out now either...

This song is more of what I expect from Gojira. First song wasn't terrible but this is definitely the better of the two.

It's lazy songwriting when vocals follow the guitar melody. Gojira need to step up these choruses.
