The new one sounds pretty okay. They are so polished these days and their songs seem to blur together a bit. Also, am I the only one around here that thinks the singer sounds more and more like Dustin Kensrue with every release?

I don't know if I agree with that statement but it's kind of funny because every release sounds less and less like Thrice while their first record was clearly highly influenced by them

I know what you mean. All I could think of through some of these songs is how much he sounded like him.

I loved The Death of Day with all my heart but I haven't really dug anything since then. Excited to try this one out, though.

Just listened to Disillution the other day. Under rated 4 sure.

"Complicated End Times" is one of the best songs I've heard this year

Garden Window is an excellent, excellent album, but Disillusion is a masterpiece. It's very much meant to be taken as a whole, as opposed to a collection of songs, and when you really listen to it that way it's hard to top.

However, it was also a big grower for me. At first found it underwhelming compared to Garden Window, but it eventually usurped it as my favorite of theirs. I'm going to refrain from coming to a conclusive opinion of this after even just a few listens -- time will tell

Endless light needs a few more listens, it's petty but i'm bummed they cut the song lengths on the new one. Their longer songs are all fantastic.

Disillusion took a minute to grow on me. So stripped down compared to Garden Window. I made it though, and I still love it. This is tight. Definitely still feeling a shitload of Thrice on this, especially since I've been jamming Vheissu a lot lately.

Man, they've grown off of me a lot. Garden Window used to be one of my favorite albums, but I just got a little tired of it. Disillusion never caught my ear, so I'll have to give this a listen and see if I can get back into them.

gotta jam Disillusion again, that was much more engaging imo

I finally figured out what this reminds me of even more than Thrice - Thursday's No Devolucion. Even down to the album art. Sadly I think Thursday's record tops this, but they're both superb.

Really good stuff.

Damn, the second half of this is top notch. I wish they would've been a little more creative with the very end of the last song, but they put in some good work on this album.
