I never really get why this band gets the hate it does. I certainly am not calling them the next coming of Jesus by any means but they aren't that bad. Everything they do is technically sound with a reasonably good singer, although I do admit I wish the harsh vocals were a bit better. Wish he could go a bit deeper on the growls

I think it's the production that erks me the most imo. It's so fucking clean it hurts the overall experience.

Screams don't sound as good as usual, but at least Beau is tolerable on this track.

They can't produce a record. They always sound like they hired someone who wants to make it sound like 2009 risecore but couldn't afford the pod farm and forgot to trigger the drums properly.

Like others have said, it's Blessthefall being Blessthefall. I actually think both the harsh and cleans are a lot better than previous albums, but the production isn't very good.

c'mon dude... He's like one of the best screamers I'd ever heard. Just listen to Awakening...
But this band blows now.. Someone mentioned that their production is sucky which I totally agree, "Witness" was a bad ass album but it was tarnished with poor production. Awakening has beautiful production which is why I think it's their best album.

Solid. Far from amazing, kinda lacks some sort of progression. Could have been on Hollow Bodies as well. 3.5 incoming, looking forward to it.

I used to love this band. I found my copy of Awakening a copy weeks ago and threw it back in my car. I wish these guys didn't get so chuggy though.
