Adam sounds so much different here.
Not a bad track though.
| |
I was kind of excited. I listened to it, now I'm kinda bummed.
| |
this song was bad.
| |
If I wanted to hear boring rock I'd turn on the fucking radio. Adam actually sounds like he has a cold on this track--this is on par with 3DG's new album, so bad.
| |
Meh, just more middle of the road radio rock.
| |
All of the above comments [2]
| |
I like that the news articles title doesn't even give his name because no one would know who Adam Gontier was without the mention of Three Days Grace.
| |
He certainly sounds like he always did.
| |
I saw their first performance today at Rock on the Range and they sounded really good live.
| |
This is better than Three Days Grace has been since One-X. Still, it's radio rock. I'd really like to see Adam doing something a little less run of the mill for once.
| |
I don't know Lloyd, the French are assholes.
| |
Bringing Mike Mushok in was a good idea, but this still sounds like typical by-the-numbers radio rock. What a shame.
| |
Meh... Adam sounds bad :-
Doesn't remind me his great capabilities and the song is also pretty weak .
Was excited to hear about it , but didn't like it ...
| |
I agree with everyone... thought he was gonna do something different at the very least after all those rants about how 3DG was playing it too safe. This is decent for what it is but still.
| |
uuuugggghhhh
| |
Don't mind hearing Adam again, but yeah, could've been more.
| |
I thought he left tdg for health reasons? Not to start a new band.
| |
The intro rocked, the verses are bad and the chorus is kinda catchy. My verdict: I'll pass just another mediocre radio-friendly rock song. I'll go back listening to Alterbridge and Sevendust now.
| |
Song just sounds like TDG. Chorus is garbage though.
| |
"I thought he left tdg for health reasons? Not to start a new band."
He said it was for health reasons at first then soon made it pretty clear it was because of issues with the other band members in terms of creative direction... and then he comes back with something that sounds EXACTLY the same.
| |
and then he comes back with something that sounds EXACTLY the same [2]
| |
Must be weird leaving a band you made to start up again... and make a band that sounds the same.
| |
"Must be weird leaving a band you made to start up again... and make a band that sounds the same."
Doesn't seem weird to me . He had some creative conflicts with the other members so he decided to move on . What's really seems odd to me , is the fact they put out a record and 2 months later , Adam left. How much time does it take to decide your creative ideas are not the same as the others ? Maybe it has something with obligations to the record company , I don't know.
| |
song gargles cum
| |
"How much time does it take to decide your creative ideas are not the same as the others ?"
Well judging from the sound of this track creative differences can't have been that different.
| |
I quite like his voice, only thing TDG had going for it.
| |
meh
| |
radio rock soup tastes like ass
| |
Not brilliant, but catchy. Better than Human for sure
| |
wow, that was mediocre...
he sounds kind of afflicted on this one. maybe an illness?
| |
song gargles cum
"Better Place" featuring SnakeDelilah
| |
I saw the names of the bands involved and decided not to listen and I think I made a good choice here
| |
I guess the other guys in Three Days Grace just couldn't cope with the artistic extremities and wild veering experimentation of a song like this...definitely called for a new line-up
| |
I heard he left due to illness, so must be better now. Music's OK but nothing new. Still better than Human although that's not saying much.
| |
Meh... pretty mediocre honestly.. The intro riff was half decent i suppose. but yea, i'd take Sevendust, Alter Bridge, or Chevelle over this.
| |
Snake will do it
| |
Sounds similar to the lyrical content and vocals used in TDG, but I'm digging the different instrument sound behind him. Mediocre track, but there is a reason all tracks first released for a new album are "radio friendly" because they are meant to be played on the radio and bring the group attention for their upcoming album!!! I remain open minded and excited for Gontiers return.
| |
I didn't even know he left the band. Last time I listened to Three Days Grace was when I was like 12. His voice sounds different, a lot more soft. Instrumentally this sounds just like Three Days Grace so I guess now there's two versions of the same band.
| |
this is caca
| |
TDG wasn't good after onex anyway
| |
That sucked
| |
Adam was the best thing about Three Days Grace. He hasn't been any good in a while though. This song is no different.
| |
MIKE MUSHOK OMG
Please be good.
| |
Mike sounded great but wow that kind of sucked
| |
most generic riff i've ever heard
| |
The man children at my gym will be thrilled thanks sputnik for giving me an in with the cool kids
| |
A friend of mine will really like this
| |
Boring...
| |
No, Adam doesn't have a cold lol. It's simply due to the production making his voice being a little raspier. I honestly like the change in voice in my opinion, it makes him set apart Three Days Grace.
| |
His voice is super off here, and the song structure feels awkward. That being said however, the production is pretty good and I'm really digging the guitar and drum work here. Song is mediocre, but I'm hopeful.
| |
He always sounds like that.
