Sheena and the Rokkets were one of the biggest new wave bands to explode out of the 1970's/1980's J-rock boom. The band has toured all over the world, and worked with numerous respectable artists since its incarnation in 1978, including The Ramones, Elvis Costello and Haruomi Hosono.

It is currently not known if Sheena and the Rokkets will continue activities or not.
